getting there

driving

Mandalay house and garden has parking available at the venue. Please drive slowly down the driveway. parking attendants will assist you in dropping off guests with limited mobility and direct you to the parking area. 

while they can be booked to the venue, ubers are not available from mandalay. Mt. Barker taxis are available from mandalay by calling 13 33 77. Please book at least 1 hour in advance.

we have a bus travelling to and from mandalay. It will pick up from our wedding hub – the marion hotel – with an additional pick up in mt. barker, at the mt. barker hotel. If you would like to use the bus, please indicate so on your rsvp. the bus will return to the marion hotel via the mt. barker hotel.

the marion hotel

the marion hotel is our wedding hub for the weekend. if you would like to stay there, please use the code “direct10” when booking for a discount. our recovery lunch will also be held at the marion hotel. 

the mount barker caravan park

the mount barker caravan park is a great option for those who would like to stay close to the venue.

We love spending time with your children, However, we kindly request that children – aside from babes in arms – don’t join us for this event. we’re planning a ‘grown up’ celebration. thank you for understanding.

The dress code for our wedding is ‘formal cocktail’. keeping in mind the celebratory atmosphere of the event, For women, we recommend a mid length or longer cocktail dress or elegant separates. For men, please wear a suit or a jacket and tie with trousers

we don’t have a registry. we’re honoured that so many of you are travelling to join us for our special day – your presence is the best gift we could receive. however, if you would like to contribute to our future together as a married couple, a wishing well will be available on the day.
